The Association of Long Term Care Financial Managers (ALTCFM) is an organization that has proudly supported skilled nursing facilities and long-term care providers since 1993,  ALTCFM has remained committed to helping members stay informed about regulatory requirements and best practices in reimbursement and financial management. Through valuable educational offerings and a strong peer network, our community has long been a trusted resource in the evolving long-term care landscape.
  
This year marks a time of thoughtful transition for ALTCFM. The Board of Directors is currently exploring potential paths forward to ensure that the organization continues to meet the changing needs of our members and the industry at large. While no final decisions have been made, we are working toward a new structure that we believe will enhance accessibility and strengthen member engagement. During this transitional year, you will still reap the benefits of membership with continued educational opportunities, bookkeeper forums, and networking. 
 
We want to reassure you that ALTCFM’s mission—to support professionals in long-term care finance—remains at the heart of these discussions. In the coming months, we look forward to sharing more details as we shape the future of the organization together.

EDUCATION

We strive to bring pertinent educational seminars and training sessions, to keep you current.  Educational webinars with important topics at a substantial registration cost savings for members.  Our Program Committee is dedicated to covering the industry’s cutting-edge topics and providing the most knowledgeable speakers.  Nursing Home Administrators can get the CT State Admin CEs when they attend.
 

NETWORKING

ALTCFM provides an opportunity for you to interact and share ideas and experiences, and valuable personal networking opportunities. Our on-line searchable Membership Directory provides contact information on members for networking purposes.
 

INFORMATION

As a member you receive newsletter and email updates that provide information and educational news impacting our industry. You are also notified of program dates and topics, special events and legislative and regulatory changes that affect long term care financial managers. On the ALTCFM website you can search the directory, update your record, add or change your photo and bio, register for upcoming programs, and find resources and past newsletters.
 

BOOKKEEPER FORUM

The forum meets quarterly to discuss billing issues. Open to members only.

Resources including webinar recordings, a printable directory and newsletter. (members must log in first)
 

FREE FOR MEMBERS
