Important Announcement

After careful deliberation, the ALTCFM Board of Directors have made the difficult decision to formally dissolve at the end of our current fiscal year ending March 31, 2026.   Since the 1990s, ALTCFM has proudly served finance professionals across long-term care with practical, high value education. Our mission has always been to support professionals in long-term care finance by helping members stay informed about regulatory requirements and best practices in reimbursement and financial management, while fostering education and a strong peer network. We are deeply grateful for your decades of engagement and support in fulfilling that mission and for the many years of great memories.

I am pleased to share that LeadingAge Connecticut & Rhode Island (LeadingAge CT & RI ) and The Connecticut Association for Health Care Facilities (CAHCF) have agreed to continue the educational programs and initiatives that have been the hallmark of ALTCFM, including programs such as the Bookkeeper Forum and the year-end holiday breakfast. To guide this work, the organizations will convene a joint Educational Advisory Committee co chaired by representatives from each association and advised by legacy ALTCFM board members. This committee will help shape topics, speakers, and scheduling, using a collaborative planning approach to ensure continuity and quality.

Thank you for being part of ALTCFM's journey.
