MembershipEDUCATIONAs change continues to remodel our industry, whether it be from State legislation, Federal legislation or that of a managed care concept, the ALTCFM strives to bring pertinent educational seminars and training sessions to our membership. Our Program and Bookkeeping Training Committees are dedicated to covering the industry's cutting edge topics and providing the most knowledgeable speakers. NETWORKINGThe ALTCFM provides a forum for our members to interact and share ideas and experiences. We provide social functions such as the annual golf outing, the holiday breakfast and networking opportunities before our membership meetings. All members also receive a membership directory for networking purposes. We also offer an on-line Job Bank and members can post openings at no charge! INFORMATIONALTCFM members receive the quarterly state newsletter which is devoted to news, education and information in the long-term care financial management industry. ALTCFM also publishes an annual Membership Directory. Each member of the ALTCFM is listed in and receives the directory each year. Members receive all mailings in regard to meetings, special events, legislative alerts and changes to the law that affect long-term care financial managers. LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIESWe encourage your participation in the shaping of our direction - our future and yours. Some ways members participate within the association are by volunteering for a board position or with one of eight committees. |
