Masonicare seeks a Director of Long-Term Care Finance. This position is exclusively responsible for the planning, coordination, and direction of the business and financial administration of Masonicare's Long-Term Care affiliates, the Masonic Healthcare Center and Ashlar of Newtown.

Budgeting, billing, collection, general ledger, accounts payable and payroll services are provided by the Masonicare Financial Services Department.

This position has a dotted line supervisory relationship with persons in the Masonicare Financial Services Department who provide these services to all Masonicare affiliates and works in conjunction with the Masonicare Senior Vice President of Finance and CFO, as well as the affiliate Presidents for the Masonic Healthcare Center and Ashlar of Newtown.

Must possess excellent ability to perform financial analyses, identify operational areas for improvement and collaborate effectively with operational personnel to affect change. The candidate must also demonstrate proficiency in functions related to payroll, client billing and collection, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and purchasing.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent college education - CPA preferred.

Documented evidence of satisfactory financial management experience of five (5) years in a long-term care facility in Connecticut.

Requires proven managerial and communication skills.

Full time, salaried position – This position reports to the Accounting Supervisor and has responsibility for maintaining cash flow of the institution through management of Medicare and third-party billing. Additional responsibilities will include posting cash to AR. Prior nursing home billing experience preferred. EOE/AA
